school admissions

Looking at admissions to a school for my daughter who is nearing 2 years. My own experience of schooling was in a strict academic environment against which i rebelled a lot. So am looking for a well-rounded schooling for my daughter. Seems like Sishugriha is the closest I've got to. my people tell me that am taking a risk as they doubt how will the integration into mainstream education post 10th std happen. I must admit am also worried about that. But it stems more from me not having made enquiries. Few efforts from me to elicit more information will surely dispel the doubts.

She is a bright girl, my daughter and so lovable that am sure she will do much better than how i have coped with life's pressures. I wish her all the best from my heart, to sally forth out into the world confidently and be a beacon of light for others.

Hi, I just came across your blog. I read about your posting on Sishugriha. I would definitely encourage you to apply. It is a great school and provides a balance between the traditional schools and the really alternate schools. The school results are very good at the ICSE level and most kids go on to join regular +12 type schools or PUC for further studies. The school provides a happy environment for learning but doesn't leave the parent wondering if their child will adjust to the outside world like some other schools do (Valley School, Aditi Mallya, etc.) Good luck!
